The Snow Wolf

Children's workshop was enjoyed by all and not just the children!

Fifteen children between 7 and 13 years of age took part in a one–day workshop with Michelle Nova, in singing and acting. The Snow Wolf written by Malcolm Williamson, teaches young children how an opera is put together using characterising, singing and movement. Four students of La Nova Studios assisted and Laura Knight, a school teacher at Puddletown, used drama games to encourage the children's imagination.

The children gave a complete performance for their parents, at the end of the day and a fun day was had by all!

Comments from some of the children and parents:

1. Really good. I would like to do another!

Mother- Really impressed with how lovely the singing sounded after such a short time practicing. Some lovely voices and they all kept in their parts beautifully.

2. Very special! Great fun! Super performance. Would like to do another workshop like this.

3. Thanks very much. Children clearly really enjoyed their day. Lovely to be able to see the performance at the end.
